PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Bakuchiol is a meroterpene (a chemical compound with a partial terpenoid structure) in the terpene phenol class, derived from Psoralea corylifolia seed. It was given the name Bakuchiol based on the Sanskrit name, Bakuchi, of the plant.
It is mainly extracted from the seeds of the plant Psoralea corylifolia, which has been used in Indian and Chinese medicine for centuries to treat a variety of diseases.
Bakuchiol is a 100% natural active ingredient derived from Babchi seeds (Psoraleae). Often touted as a natural alternative to retinol, bakuchiol has similarities to retinoids in terms of efficacy, but is quite gentle on the skin.

Bakuchiol Function
