PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Amylase is an enzyme that breaks down starch and glycogen, usually by hydrolysis. Amylases are so efficient and specific that they are often used to break down starch slurries on fabrics. Enzymatic desizing is much faster than other methods and produces less contamination.
Products made with amylase are softer than those made with acid or alkaline methods without damaging the fibers. Amylases are primarily used to break down starches, increase filtration rates in fruit juice and vegetable processing, and make glucose and other syrups.

Enzymes Features
- High efficiency: The enzyme’s catalytic efficiency is greater than that of the inorganic catalyst, thus the reaction rate is speedier.
- Specificity: An enzyme only catalyzes one or a group of substrates. For example, a protease catalyzes only the hydrolysis of proteins into polypeptides.
- Diversity: There are approximately 4000 different types of enzymes.
- Mild: Enzymes usually catalyze chemical reactions under mild conditions.
- Regulation of activity: There are various types of regulation, such as inhibitor and activator regulation, feedback inhibition regulation, covalent modification regulation and allosteric regulation.
- Variability: Enzymes are mostly proteins and are therefore inactivated by high temperatures, strong acids, and bases.
Function Of Enzymes
Disease diagnosis
As we continue to study enzymes, we increasingly understand the important role that complex SOD-rich enzymes play in disease treatment.
Clinical treatment
Therapies involving enzymes are gradually recognized, and various enzyme preparations are used more and more frequently in clinical practice.
For example, trypsin and chymotrypsin can catalyze protein breakdown. This principle has been used for surgical dilation, wound decontamination, and the treatment of severe thoracoabdominal adhesions.
Production and living
The yeast used in brewing is produced by the corresponding microorganisms, and enzymes convert starch into alcohol through processes such as hydrolysis, oxidation, etc. The production of soy sauce and vinegar is also done through the action of enzymes.
After treatment with amylase and cellulase, the nutritional value of the feed is improved. In addition, adding enzymes to laundry detergent can improve the efficiency of laundry detergent, making it easier to remove sweat stains, etc.
Amylase for application
Amylase is mainly used for starch decomposition and filtration speed improvement in fruit juice processing, as well as vegetable processing, syrup manufacturing, glucose and other processing and manufacturing.
