Nattokinase

Nattokinase (NK), also known as subtilisin, is a serine protease produced by Bacillus subtilis natto during the fermentation of natto. It can be extracted from natto, a fermented soybean made by boiling the beans and combining them with a certain type of bacteria.

So nattokinase, an extract of natto that is often capsuled and taken as a food supplement, dissolves blood clots that can lead to heart attacks and strokes.

Nattokinase Function

The most common dose of nattokinase is 2000 mg per day, but some people take as much as 5000 mg per day.
