PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Aloe-emodin is an anthraquinone compound. The antibacterial active ingredient of rhubarb is an orange needle-like crystal (toluene) or an ochre-colored crystalline powder (ethanol), which can be extracted from aloe vera.

Aloe-emodin has antitumor activity, antibacterial activity, and immunosuppressive effects. It can play an antidiarrheal effect and has been widely used as a raw material for medicines, health products and cosmetics.

Aloe-emodin Product Function

Anti-tumor effect

In recent years, scholars have been interested in the anti-tumor effect of aloe-emodin. Its main anti-tumor activity is concentrated on neuroectodermal tumors, liver cancer, lung squamous cell carcinoma, skin Merkel cell carcinoma, gastric cancer, leukemia and other tumors.

Aloe Diarrhea has a wide range of anti-cancer effects. It has an inhibitory effect on P388 leukemia cells and can prolong survival. One of its mechanisms of action is to inhibit the biosynthesis of DNA, RNA and protein in cancer cells.

Antibacterial effect

Aloe-emodin has inhibitory effects on Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Bacillus diphtheria, Bacillus subtilis, anthrax, Bacillus paratyphi, Bacillus dysentery, etc.

One of its mechanisms of action is to inhibit electron transmission in the mitochondrial respiratory chain. Aloe Diarrhea has a strong inhibitory effect on the nucleic acid and protein synthesis of Staphylococcus aureus and also has a strong inhibitory effect on clinically common anaerobic bacteria.

Intestinal laxative effect

Aloe-emodin has a strong effect of increasing appetite and laxative effects of large intestine. Aloin is hydrolyzed into aloe-emodin under the action of parasitic bacteria in the human body. This aloe-emodin stimulates the peristalsis of the intestinal wall.

At the same time, due to the change of osmotic pressure, it is beneficial to the elimination of waste in the intestine, thereby achieving irritation. Especially for middle-aged and elderly constipation, the treatment effect is more obvious.

Suppress immune hyperactivity

Abnormal immunity can cause damage to the body. For example, many autoimmune diseases are caused by abnormal expression of autoimmunity.

They target the normal tissues of the body, causing damage to the body. The use of aloe-emodin can inhibit the body’s production of antibodies, thereby suppressing immune excess (anti-allergic).

Lipid-lowering and weight-loss effect

Aloe-emodin can inhibit the absorption of cholesterol. In addition, it can effectively promote intestinal peristalsis that has a certain effect of reducing fat and losing weight.

Applications

  • Pharmaceutical and chemical intermediates;
  • Health food additives;
  • Cosmetic raw materials
  • Hair care raw materials.
