Bacopa serrata extract is extracted and processed from the whole herb of Bacopa scrophulariaceae, which mainly contains triterpenoid saponin compounds. Has memory-enhancing, sedative, antiepileptic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic pharmacological activities.
Bacopa is mainly distributed in Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, Yunnan and Sichuan in my country. The main chemical constituents isolated from BM alcohol extraction are dammaragne triterpenoid saponins with jujubogenin and jujubogenin as aglycones. The main chemical constituents are bacoside A and bacosides A and B, bacoside B is dextrorotate, while bacoside A is levorotatory.
