PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Horny Goat Weed Powder is made from the aerial parts of the genus Epimedium (also known as Horny Goat Weed), especially the species Epimedium sagittatum (Sieb. et Zucc.) Maxim. or Epimedium Grandiflorum.
Horny Goat Weed stem and leaf contained icariin and Epinedoside A. Roots and roots containing Noricarliin and i-cariresinol. Icariin is a chemical compound classified as a prenylated flavonol glycoside, a type of flavonoid. Icariin powder has brown (Icariin 20%) to light yellow (Icariin 98%) color, characteristic odor and bitter taste.
Organic Horny Goat Weed Powder is made from fresh Horny Goat Weed by spray drying and sifting and disinfection. The fineness is generally above 80 mesh.
