PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

what is Matcha Powder

Matcha, also called matcha green tea, is made from shade-grown green tea leaves. The plants used for matcha are botanically called camellia sinensis, and they are shade-grown for three to four weeks before harvest. The shade-grown green tea leaves produce more active ingredients. After the harvest, the leaves are steamed to deactivate enzymes, then they are dried and the stems and veins are removed, after that they are ground or milled into powder.
Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder: This is the highest quality matcha used for traditional tea ceremonies. It is made from the youngest, first-harvest tea leaves and is ground into a fine powder. Ceremonial matcha has a smooth, rich flavor and is a good source of antioxidants.

Benefits of Matcha Powder

Rich in Antioxidants, Delays Aging

Matcha powder contains a large amount of tea polyphenols and catechins, which are powerful antioxidants that effectively eliminate free radicals in the body. Free radicals are the culprits that cause cell aging, wrinkles, and various chronic diseases. Antioxidants neutralize these free radicals, thereby delaying aging and protecting cell health.

Provides Rich Nutrition and Energy

Matcha powder contains a variety of vitamins, such as vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin E. Vitamin A is beneficial for eye health and can relieve eye fatigue; vitamin C can enhance immunity and promote collagen synthesis; and vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that protects cells from free radical damage.
It also contains a variety of minerals, such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, and iron. Potassium helps maintain normal heart function and stable blood pressure; calcium is important for bone and dental health; and magnesium participates in various metabolic processes in the body and benefits the nervous system and muscle function. Matcha powder also contains a certain amount of amino acids, particularly theanine, which can help relax the nerves and relieve stress. It also boosts dopamine production in the brain, elevating mood.

Boosting Metabolism and Aids Weight Management

The caffeine and tea polyphenols in matcha powder work synergistically to increase the body’s metabolic rate and promote the breakdown and burning of fat. Matcha powder also provides a strong sense of fullness, and moderate consumption can help reduce intake of other high-calorie foods, contributing to weight management.

Protecting Cardiovascular Health

Tea polyphenols can lower blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels, preventing lipid deposition in blood vessels and thus preventing cardiovascular diseases such as atherosclerosis. They also inhibit platelet aggregation, reducing the risk of thrombosis and protecting the normal function of the cardiovascular system.

Refreshing and Improving Brain Function

The caffeine and theanine in matcha powder work together to stimulate the central nervous system, providing a refreshing and relieving effect while also preventing the anxiety and tension associated with caffeine alone. Furthermore, studies have shown that moderate, long-term consumption of matcha may help improve memory and concentration.
