Function and Effect:
Huperzine A is good for benign memory disorders. It can enhance abilities like directed memory, associative learning, image recall, recognition of meaningless figures and face recall for patients. It also helps with memory problems caused by dementia and brain organic lesions. This drug is also used to treat myasthenia gravis.
Adverse Reactions:
Huperzine A doesn’t have obvious bad reactions. But if the dose is too big, it might cause dizziness, nausea, discomfort in the stomach and intestines, tiredness and so on. Usually, these don’t need special treatment or they’ll go away if you take a smaller dose. In serious cases, atropine can be used to deal with them.
